mammography
Detection is Protection
If you need a mammogram, look no further. We offer mammography services to our patients in a comfortable and relaxed setting.
Mammography Services
Mammography services are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
A mammogram is a short procedure that takes an x-ray picture of the breast. It detects abnormalities and changes in breast tissue that may be early signs of breast cancer.
To ensure your mammogram is as comfortable as possible, we keep the room comfortably warm and the lights dim. We also provide water and a small snack if you would like.

How to prepare for your mammogram
Don’t apply deodorant or antiperspirant before your exam. These substances can leave spots that may appear on the x-ray.
You may prefer to wear a two-piece outfit. Then you will only need to remove your top and bra. We will provide a gown for you to wear during the procedure.
Schedule your mammogram for a time when your breasts are not tender or swollen. This will help the procedure be more comfortable.
